How to Use the Time Duration Calculator
Option 1: Calculate the duration between two dates
- Select the Duration tab.
- Enter your Start date and time.
- Enter your End date and time.
- Check “Include time” if you want to calculate hours, minutes, and seconds.
- Check “Include end date in count” if the final day should be included in the total.
- Select your preferred units under “Show results in” (e.g., Days, Hours, etc.).
- Click Calculate Duration.

- Select the Business Days tab.
- Input your Start Date and End Date.
- Select the days of the week considered WORKING DAYS (e.g., Mon–Fri).
- Enter your daily business hours in the WORK STARTS and WORK ENDS fields.
- Click Calculate Business Days.
Option 3: Find a future or past date
- Select the Add / Subtract tab.
- Enter your STARTING DATE & TIME.
- Select either the Add or Subtract radio button.
